Our process begins with designing an inspection plan for each part. This plan includes the critical dimensions to be inspected, frequency of inspection and the type of inspection equipment to be used. Every step in the process is then monitored utilizing sophisticated inspection equipment including automated CNC/CMM machines, video and touch probe measurement systems, optical inspection systems, optical comparators, and many other precision instruments.
Gage calibration software with bar coding is used to ensure only calibrated gauges and tools are used and to provide complete traceability. Most of our calibration is done in-house by trained quality personnel. When appropriate, we utilize SPC techniques to ensure and document compliance to critical tolerance requirements.
